Pirates vs Ninjas Checker Set

So who would win in a fight - Pirates or Ninjas? That's been the subject of debate since the dawn of the internet. While both are incredibly deadly it could be argued that shuriken don't stand a chance against cannon balls, or that the brute force of a Pirate could never match the stealthy strike from a Ninja.
